The Good Will Out x Adidas Consortium NMD CS1

With one drop already made by Adidas of the Adidas Consortium NMD CS1 many are patiently awaiting the second drop of The Good Will Out NMD CS1 on September 23rd,2017. With so much hype around this sneaker, we take a deeper look at the trainer, its details and where you can grab a pair from before they sell out.

The Adidas NMD CS1 is the latest collaboration from The Good Will Out a German independent store ran by Cologne-based sneaker collectors Alex and Oliver. Alex and Oliver teamed up with the Adidas Consortium to bring this Shinobi inspired sock like footwear design of the NMD. The task was for the team to deliver a stealthy, monochrome edition of the Adidas NMD wich the team certainly delivered on.

Quite often we see bold and bright collaborations and interesting colourways drawn up however the Adidas Consortium and The Good Will Out did quite the opposite with this questionably futuristic design. This time we see the Adidas NMD clean and simple drenched in black with a design inspired by Shinobi, the Ninjas of Japan. The Shinobi Ninjas were often tasked with assassinations and used an ancient technique known as “Ankoko Toshi Jutsu” which enabled them to see and carry out assassinations in complete darkness. It’s clear from the design of this NMD The Good Will Out stayed true to the original design inspiration. Producing this super stylish, modern piece of footwear fit for any assassination in stealth mode.

Let’s take a closer look at the model’s construction. Hitting shelves in total stealth mode the Adidas NMD CS1 is crafted from three interconnecting Primeknit panels, all in a similar black with slightly changing textures. The midsole carries the Boost cushioning to give full support with a rippled outsole that provides the shoe with extra grip. While the heel tab sports a perfectly fitting added touch with the phrase “The Art of Seeing Through Darkness” in Japanese accompanied by The Good Will Out.

The second drop of The Good Will Out x Adidas Consortium NMD CS1 is stated to hit shelves again on September 23rd, 2017 with the price tag of £194.39 and will be available from select Adidas Consortium retailers including online retailer Solebox.
