Nike Goes Green with New Nike Flyleather Range

Nike leads the way for green manufacturing with their new Flyleather range.

Nike takes an amazing step in the right direction for fashion retail brands with its latest green innovation Flyleather. Nike is looking out for the earth and a sustainable future with its latest innovation Flyleather crafted of at least 50% recycled leather and water powder.  Nike is building a sustainable future by using and recycling discarded leather from factory floors to help reduce waste and its carbon footprint. This new move towards sustainable production doesn’t just benefit the earth but it is also aiming for the leather to be 40% lighter, five times more durable and use 90% less water, impressive right?

Amazingly the look and feel haven’t taken any hits either with the Flyleather sporting an authentic look and feel.  Nike is looking to launch its new Flyleather with its Nike Flyleather Tennis classic available September 18th, 2017 on Nike’s online store and other online retailers supported by Nike.

Later in the year, we will see more Flyleather with a line of models supporting the new green leather production including the Air Force 1, Jordan 1 and Air Max 90.

Hats off to Nike for making this leap in sustainable green production, we’re sure it will see massive support and more adopters to Nike footwear through this innovative approach to tackling environmental issues.
